ABOUT
Sean Fairman Design Ltd is an international Design company that focuses on furniture and home accessories, managing projects and clients across markets in: Europe, USA, Asia and Africa. Sean works with a variety of enterprises including furniture startups, global sourcing corporations and direct retailers. The company champions a forward thinking philosophy towards the future of design and has been successfully exploring exciting eco conscious projects that incorporates holistic design strategies and a repertoire of sustainable materials such as: bio-ceramics, upholstery textiles made from recycled bottles and process patented recycled limestone.
HISTORY
Sean was born in London and studied a Masters in Industrial Design at Coventry University. He began his career at Danish Designer: Morten Georgsen's Studio in Valencia, Spain. He spent a total of 4 years under his mentorship working with global names like BoConcept, Made.com, KARE, Pottery Barn, Article, Four Hands, Otto.de and more. Sean's passion for Scandinavian design truly sparked under the mentorship of Georgsen and he was captivated by the world of mid century heroes such as Finn Juhl and Børge Mogensen. These radical influences have pushed him to explore aesthetic philosophies of organic form, the power of proportions & how these elements are embedded in function.
